IÂ have known Rev. Nana Oduro for a very long time as we grew up in Sakumono Estates and particularly served together in church, me as an usher and he as a youth pastor. Even back then, his love for people and the neighbourhood was obvious.
After a period away, I came back to Sakumono Estates and I wasn’t surprised to find him still serving the community, this time as President of the Residents Association. He had taken over and revived a moribund association that had been dead for the longest time. Not only did he organise the immediate community that way, he went on to virtually force all the neighbouring communities, Regimanuel, NTHC, Chapel Square etc to sort themselves out and then form a super association that protects the interests of everyone.
Rev. Nana Oduro is God-fearing, kind, very hardworking with a heart for humanity. He is always there when needed, even in the darkest hour of the day. He liaises and monitors any service provider that deals with the community, he has an excellent relationship with the municipal government, the police service etc which inures to the benefit of the whole community. He is selfless and always has a heart for everybody, from the highest to the lowest.
Rev. Oduro is a God-send to Sakumono Estates and to Tema West and I am privileged to have seen what he’s done and continues to do in the service of Tema West.
